With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cheryl Lynn (Spidel) Alka of Lawrenceville, Illinois, who passed away on August 10, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gerald Spidel and Jeanne Spidel (Sandlin); her husband Robert C. "Bob" Alka; her children, Bryan, Kristy Alka, Matt, Kristi Schrader, Jim and Susan Alka; her brother-in-law Charles (Kay Alka); her grandchildren, Daisy Schrader, Liv Alka and Sam Schrader; and her brother Patrick Spidel.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Lunch Wagon in Mt. Carmel.
