He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jacob Kearby and Viola Delores Kent (Bird); his spouse Stanzie Montgomery; and his brother Marcus Kearby. He is survived by: his children, Charles Michael 'Mike Kearby, Jr. (Katherine) of Pekin, Shawn Kearby of South Carolina, Nathan Kearby of Dixon, Kentucky, Michelle Ochs (Rodney) of Newton, Alisha Hayes (Josh) of Flat Rock and Anna Tewell (Leo) of Lawrenceville, Illinois; and his half-siblings, Gary C. Kearby, Teri Carroll and Sherry Havenstein. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
