He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Faye Eddy; his daughters, Carol Mehler of Palestine, Janice Elaine Huffer (Jason) of Waverly, Crystal McKenzie (Troy Nester) of Willow Hill and Laney Burton of Lawrenceville, Illinois; and his siblings, Thurl Burton, Jr. of Effingham, Paul Burton of Toledo, Jack Burton (Diana) of Watson, Illinois and Faye Welch of Mattoon, Illinois. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
