It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brianna L. Cox of Lawrenceville, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on July 7, 2024, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, James, Laura Cox, John and Betty DeBoeuf; and her niece Madison Johnson.
She is survived by: her parents, Jimmie C. Cox and Kathy Cox (DeBoeuf) of Lawrenceville, Illinois; her brothers, Travis W. Johnson (Monica) of Sumner and Mark R. Johnson of Macomb, Illinois; her nieces and nephews, Cole Johnson, Allie Johnson and Sladen Johnson; and her close friends, Zoe and Zena. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial donations may be made to the Lawrence County Illinois Humane Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
