Betty Mieure Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2020, at the age of 99, Betty Mieure of Lawrenceville, Illinois, born in Saint Francisville, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Mieure to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Mayfield and Stella Mayfield (Stewart); her husband George W. Mieure; and her siblings, Ivan, Claude Mayfield, Martha A. Senters and Doris Rigg.

She is survived by: her children, David B. Mieure (Paula) of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Julie Astrike of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Bonnie Rose of Lawrenceville, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Eric Mieure, David Mieure, Robin Downing and Jennifer Axley. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Lawrence County Humane Society or the United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville.
