She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Fortner and Bertha Fortner (Henderson); her sons, James, Stephen and Doug; her grandsons, Bradley and J. D.; her great grandchildren, Jesse and Kiersten; and her siblings, Ray, Bob, Tom, Kenneth, Carl, Mary Sue East, Sadie Richardville, Beulah Godare and Elsie Fortner.
She is survived by: her son Gene (Judy Mahrenholz) of Lawrenceville; and her grandchildren, Lisa Archibald, Jim Mahrenholz, Amy Whitlock, Justin Mahrenholz, Jeremy Mahrenholz and Kristen Hoey. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Vincennes, Indiana.
