He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Ross "Buck" Rue (Alice Marie) and Alice Rue; his grandson Wyatt Daniel Rue; his siblings, Mary Sue Watson, Robert Rue, Ron Rue, Tony Rue, Rodney Rue, Andrea Rue and Jack Rue (Nancy) of Peotone; and his siblings-in-law, Deborah Rue and Richard Watson.
He is survived by: his children, Bradley Rue (Sheila) of Mt. Carmel, Tonya (Silva) and Amy Rue of Lawrenceville; his siblings, Bonnie Baird (Don) of Martinsville, Richard Rue (Kathy) of Houston, TX, Julie Briggs (Chuck) of Tilton and Melanie Evans (David) of Weatherford, TX; his sisters-in-law, Sharon Rue of Murray, KY and Marsha Rue of Casey; his grandchildren, Cailey Rue, Allison Rue, Austin Rue, Ryan (Silva), Alyssa (Silva), Guilherme (Silva) and William Scott Rue; and his great grandchild Jordan Scott Tucker.
