He was predeceased by: his parents, James Andrew and Veronica Mary Yost (Huss); his wife Vickie Lynn Bachman; and his sons, David Yost and Donald Yost.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Uhlir (Dan) of Bloomington, Janice Weidner (Robert) of Clay City, Thomas Yost (Carol) of Normal and Elaine Gill (David) of McLean, Illinois; and his sister Freda Keller of West Liberty, Illinois. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Disabled American Veterans (DAV), or Wounded Warriors Project.
