He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Franks; and his brother Donald Franks. He is survived by: his mother Christine Franks (Bloomquist); his wife Kathy Slusser; his daughter Brandy Franks of Rock Falls; his siblings, Thomas Franksl (Kathy) of Rock Falls and Rhonda Neal (Jesse) of Rock Falls; and his grandchildren, Shawna Buccholz, Tabytha Johnson and Alissa Franks. He is also survived by three step grandchildren.
