She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis "Bus" and Mary Coulson (Dial); her husband James "Skip" Proctor; and her brother-in-law Ralph Tozer. She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Westen (Casey) of Latham and Jennifer Wallace of Latham, IL; her grandchildren, Kyle Westen and Colton Westen; and her siblings, Mary Tozer of Decatur, IL and Pat Miller (Rhody) of Forsyth, IL.

Memorials may be made in Janice's name to the Latham Fire Department, the family, Latham First united Methodist Church, or Safe Haven Hospice .
