It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willem Plate Jr. (Lansing, Illinois), who passed away on April 6, 2019, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Clara Wells (Joseph) and Hermina Rutnicki; his nephew Carl Wells; his nieces, Catherine Flaherty (Brian), Jodi VerHagen (Neil) and Tonya Gomez (Juan); and his pet Jan.
