It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Liptak of Lansing, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 28, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Sandstrom and Dorothy Sandstrom; and her brother Ronald Sandstrom. She is survived by: her husband Julius G. Liptak Sr.; her children, Susan Liptak-Liston, Julius "Butch" Jr. (Nikki), Matthew (Pam Barba) and Deborah (Richard Furmanek); her grandchildren, Cassie, Brody Liston, AJ Liptak, Brandon Memenga, Thomas, Matthew, Emily Liptak, Zachary and Jacob Furmanek; her great grandchild Thomas Liptak Jr.; and her siblings, Donna Kladis, David and Jack Sandstrom.
