She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Gross and Adeline Gross. She is survived by: her husband Donald Butkus; her children, Pamela Koslow (Keith Berry), Donald Butkus (Beverly), Mark Butkus (Janet) and Christine Chinn (Danny); her grandchildren, Brett, Kayla (Derek), Mark (Lindsay), Zack (Kristen), Rebecca, Jordan, Matthew (Sarah), Maggie (Brad), Donald Jr., Cheyenne, Cody and Josh; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Liam, Grayson, Asher, Tyler, Emma, Greyson, Adeline and Stella; her sister Carol Johnson (Wayne); and her brothers-in-law, Ron Butkus and Richard Butkus (Helen).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Shirley's name to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
