He is survived by: his wife Arlene Seger; his children, Nicholas, Joseph (Kate) and Jennifer (Alexander Fancher); his granddaughter Minerva; his brother Karl Seger; his father-in-law John Beno; his uncles, David Seger (Scotty), Jim Seger (Janet), Leroy Darragh (Ginny) and Ted Truby (Lynn); his aunt Connie Beno (George); his siblings-in-law, Robert Beno (Pricilla), Nancy Beno, Steven Beno (CeCe) and Janice Lindeman (Robert); his nieces and nephews, William Ciszewski (Emily), Amy Sanderson (Sean), Stephanie Beno, Ashley Garcia (Ronald) and Daniel Lindeman (Janet Schauer); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kiefer, Kendall, Hudson, Colin, Alex, Rylee, Ethan and Devin.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home (3227 Ridge Rd, Lansing, IL 60438). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
