He is survived by: his children, Michael Vermeulen (Gail), Beverly Zandstra (Bart), David Vermeulen (Suzanne) and Pamela Swets (Jack); his grandchildren, Joel Zandstra (Nicole), Kendra Keane (Brandon), David Vermeulen (Dana), Heidi Teach (Juston), Derek Vermeulen (Krissi), Danielle Glaze (Ron), Brent Vermeulen (Amanda), Chris Vermeulen (Maria Vidoni), Kaylee Holt (TJ), Wylan Swets (Elizabeth) and Sierra Widup (Marcus); his siblings, Jerry Vermeulen (Carol Stack), Joe, Janet Heneveld (Gary) and Ken Vermeulen (Sylvia); and his siblings-in-law, Ed Lanting (Marci) and Carol Wise (Ray). He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
