Robert C. Shimala Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2024, at the age of 82, Robert C. Shimala of Lansing, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Shimala; and his parents, Charles Shimala and Anne Shimala. He is survived by: his sons, Robert (Heidi), John (Janet) and Michael; and his grandchildren, Sara, Matthew, Benjamin, Tyler, Emily and Charlie.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (3010 Ridge Rd, Lansing, IL 60438). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Robert's name to Hospice of the Calumet Area, 600 Superior Ave., Munster, IN 46321.
