It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Renee C. Dykstra of Lansing, Illinois, who passed away on March 31, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Renee C. Dykstra to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerrit Ruisard and Cora Ruisard; and her sister Leah Ruisard. She is survived by: her children, Correy Dykstra and Stacey Scholte (Simon); and her grandchildren, Carrie Riechers (Logan), Devin Dykstra, Jaimie Dykstra (Garret Porter), Samantha Rohn (David), Alexandra Warnke (Gabe), Carissa Scholte, Simon Scholte, Zachariah Scholte, Rebekah Scholte and Levi Scholte.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Smits Funeral Home (2121 Pleasant Springs Ln, Dyer, IN 46311). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
