He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy M. Porter; his brothers, Floyd Porter (late Arlene) and Jim Porter (late Carol); and his parents, Jacob J. Porter and Josephine Porter.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Porter (Maria), Ronald Porter (Sharon) and Diane Emanuelson (Mark). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
