She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Shaffer and Mildred; and her brother Jim Shaffer. She is survived by: her husband Scott Pelke; her son Ian Pelke; her grandchildren, Mason Pelke, Payton Pelke (Makenzie Welsh) and Gavin Pelke; her great grandchild Greyson Pelke; her siblings, Robert Shaffer (late Cindy), Patricia Anderson (Steven) and Judith Antill (late James); and her brothers-in-law, Steven Pelke (late Susan) and Paul Pelke (Patricia).
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home (530 W 14th St, Chicago Heights, IL 60411). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
