Marilyn Ruth (Vierk) Kooy Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Ruth (Vierk) Kooy (Lansing, Illinois), who passed away on February 10, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Lyle Kooy (Butch); her daughters, Kristine Wilkens (Robb), Karen Phillips (Alfred) and Kathy Shone (Ryan); her grandchildren, Ryan, Megan, Erin, Cody, Madeline, Emma, Brady and Holden; and her great grandchild Hazel. She is also survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are asking when entering the building to please wear a mask and observe the six feet social distancing protocol.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Marilyn's name to St. John's Lutheran Church in Lansing, Illinois.
