She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Botma; her child Dean Botma; her siblings, Sadie Bosch (late John), Albert Schoon (late Eva), Connie Hornbrook (late Don), Nick Schoon (Jennie) and Hilda Kuipers (late Bill); and her parents, Cornelius Schoon and Kate Schoon.

She is survived by: her son Kevin Botma (Patricia); and her grandchildren, David Boersma (Juli), Allison Rosinski (Mike), Derrick Haan (Christine), Kendra Haan, Kaitlin Chew (Jonathon), Colleen Turner (Anthony), Chad Boersma (Lisa), Jodi Jonkman (Gib), John Boersma (Annette) and Bryan Boersma (Carrie). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be given to Lansing Christian School or Illiana Christian High School.
