It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Ann Banasiak of Lansing, Illinois, who passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brother Bernard Gendek (late Sandy); her parents, Martin Gendek and Anna Gendek; her parents-in-law, Walter and Emily Banasiak; and her siblings-in-law, Rita Hathcoat (late Howard), Rene Lesko (late Michael) and Duane Banasiak.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Banasiak and James Banasiak (Kristin); and her siblings-in-law, Christine Lapinskie and Dave Banasiak. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Lorraine's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, The Salvation Army, Ronald McDonald House, or your local Veteran's group.
