She was loved and cherished by many people including: her close friend Thomas Stallbohm; her children, Kimberly Martin (Todd), Kevin Poortinga (Rebecca), Lynn and Laura Stallbohm; her grandchildren, Amanda Courtney (Mitchell), Derek Schaaf, Faith Martin, Joshua and Jacob Poortinga; her brother Darrell Van Gameron (Hilda); her parents, Arthur Gameron and Doris Van Gameron; and her sister Jaci Mieland.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Karen's name to the tuition assistance program at Reformed Heritage Christian School, 700 North Flecher Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49006.
