He was predeceased by: his father Pete Strasen. He is survived by: his mother Margaret Wise; his brothers, Paul Strasen, Michael Wise, Thomas Wise and Marty Strasen; his sister-in-law Judy Strasen; his niece Sarah Strasen (Peter Moench); his great-nephew Felix; his great-niece Sylvie; and his nephew Karl Strasen.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home (3227 Ridge Rd, Lansing, IL 60438). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (2505 Indiana Ave, Lansing, IL 60438). A burial was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Oak Glen Cemetery (2270 Indiana Ave, Lansing, IL 60438).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church in Lansing, Illinois.
