With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John R. Mateyko of Lansing, Illinois, who passed away on October 27, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Mateyko and Margaret Mateyko; and his brother Richard Mateyko. He is survived by: his wife Janet Mateyko; his children, Carin Mateyko and Marc Mateyko; his grandchildren, Jackson and Jamie Stout; and his sister Marlene Varnum.
