He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol; his children, Terry Kapteyn (Cheryl), Scott Kapteyn (Julie) and Diane Togtman (Don); his grandchildren, Eric Kapteyn (Kay), Kelly Evers (Shawn), Jaclyn Lenehan (Patrick), Michelle Svendsen (Dan), Katie DeGraff (Curt), Wade Kapteyn (Jenni), Braden Kapteyn (Natalie), Mike Togtman (Hannah) and Brooke Togtman; his parents, Peter Kapteyn and Henrietta Kapteyn; and his sister Mary Dykema (late Jake). He was also cherished by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Emmanuel CRC or a Christian school of your choosing.
