He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Hannagan and Edna Hannagan; and his sisters, Patricia and Diane. He is survived by: his brothers, Leonard (Mary) and Anthony Hannagan (late Marge). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
