He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Cermak and Susan Cermak; his brother-in-law John O. Vanderhoek; and his nephew John E. Vanderhoek. He is survived by: his sister Patricia Vanderhoek (John); and his niece Kelly Powell (Todd).
