He was predeceased by: his siblings, Henrietta Ulm, Richard Jabaay (late Laura), Neil Jabaay (late Walita) and Ron Jabaay (Carol); and his parents, Peter Jabaay and Mary Jabaay.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Jabaay; his children, James Jabaay (Patti), Linda Sluiter (Doug), Keith Jabaay and Denise Poole (David); his grandchildren, James Jabaay Jr. (Toni), Joel Jabaay (Courtney), Bethanni Buikema (Brandon), Candice Van Hout (Steve), Ashley Huitsing (David), Braden Sluiter, Austin Sluiter, Max Poole and Henry Poole; and his sister Janice Tillema (late John).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Christ the King Presbyterian Church – Naples, FL, Illiana Christian High School, or Crown Point Christian School.
