He is survived by: his wife Barbara Tiemens; his children, Ronald Tiemens (Martha) and Patricia Witvoet (Ronald); his stepchildren, Chris Ringos (Renee) and Marcy Mitchell (David); his grandchildren, Christie Tidd (Gary), Dan Witvoet (Tara), Amy Westfall (Rob), Alex Tiemens (Jessica), Ryan Wessels (Angela) and Libby Milligan (Adam); his great grandchildren, Anna, Isabella, Isaac, Brendon, Bradley, Aubrey, Ryan, Shawn, Liam, Hudson, Bruce, Evangeline, William and Eliza; his stepgrandchild Melina; and his siblings, Gerald Tiemens (Ann), Brian Tiemens (Helen) and Beverly Beezhold (late Calvin).
