With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Diana (Schnabel) P. Markez of Lansing, Illinois, born in Moline, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 15, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Schnabel and Mary Schnabel; her husband Frank; her former spouses, Gust Klang and Paul Markez; her children, Denise and Greg Klang; and her brother Don Schnabel.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Rubio; her grandchildren, Christy DeMercedes, Kate McCann (Patrick), Kevin Bender (Megan) and Amy Van Vossen (Shane); her great grandchildren, Michael, Breanna, Colin, Brooklyn, Hunter, Hadley, Emily, Ayden, Leah and Evryn; her great great grandchild Kairo; and her siblings, Mike Schnabel (Diana) and Pamela Stahl (Barney).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the church.
