He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford G Lontz and Evelyn Lontz. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Lontz; his daughters, Tina Barnhart (Michael) and Susan Sherwood (Jason); his grandchildren, Kelli K Lewandowski, Evan R Sherwood, Hunter S Sherwood and Soren M Sherwood; and his siblings, Ken Lontz (Marcie), Jan Lontz Schuyler (Andy), Ed Lontz (Elaine) and Eva Lontz Prine.
