She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Lewis and Idell Thompson (James Golden); her daughter Gwen Spencer; her sisters-in-law, Debra Kelley (Marianne Frigo) and Rose Meegan; her stepbrother Larry Golden; her uncle Butch (Maxine Kelly Elmore); and her child Little Donald of Jerry.
She is survived by: her son Ken Abels (Stephanie); her grandson Kenny Howard Ables; her siblings-in-law, Claudette Beauchamp (Chuks Ozor) and Rae Rayford; her aunt Lena McCray (Late); her children, Stacey, Kentrell, Miles, Audrey, Tesa, Dusharn, Donnie, Kiila, Darryl, Reggie, Amma, Roslyn "Marie" H., Tamika, LaToya, Larry, La Donna, Leslie, Portia, Ashley, Tiffany, Daniel Bell, Tony, Desmond, Scooter and Crystal; and her caregiver Kiela (family: Pumpkin, Tank).
