He is survived by: his wife Vicky Karrson (Panozzo); his children, Steffani Karrson, Jennifer Karrson (Gil Grimes) and Derek Karrson (Nikki Gonzales); his grandchildren, Sarah, Adam and Samantha; his brothers, Wayne Karrson (Sue) and Ken Karrson; his brothers-in-law, Gary Panozzo (Jane) and Mark Panozzo (Deb); and his daughter-in-law Nicole Karrson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in the family's name to the Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois.
