He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Boersema; his son Edward Boersema; and his siblings, Benjamin Boersema, Edward Boersema, Martin Boersema (Alice), Anjean VanderWaard (late Henri), Cora Martin (late Wayne) and Albert Boersema (late Linda).
He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Martin (Nathan), Sandra DeVries (Rob) and Linda Fox (Bob); his grandchildren, Andrew Martin (Kayla), Adam Martin (Rachel), Hannah Togtman (Mike), Samantha Ortiz (Mario), Cassandra Siersema (Andrew), Brent Fox (Lyndi) and Kyle Fox (Kelsey); and his siblings, Richard Boersema (late Jeanette) and Inez (late Siepbrand DeYoung).
Memorial contributions may be given to Illiana Christian High School.
