She was predeceased by: her grandson Jeff Zandstra; her siblings, Gilbert Lanting and Matilda Zandstra (late George); and her parents, Henry Lanting and Cornelia Lanting.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Vermeulen; her children, Michael Vermeulen (Gail), Beverly Zandstra (Bart), David Vermeulen (Suzanne) and Pamela Swets (Jack); her grandchildren, Joel Zandstra (Nicole), Kendra Keane (Brandon), David Vermeulen (Dana), Heidi Teach (Juston), Derek Vermeulen (Krissi), Danielle Glaze (Ron), Brent Vermeulen (Amanda), Chris Vermeulen (Maria Vidoni), Kaylee Holt (TJ), Wylan Swets (Elizabeth) and Sierra Widup (Marcus); her siblings, Ed Lanting (Marci) and Carol Wise (Ray); and her siblings-in-law, Jerry Vermeulen (Carol Stack), Joe, Janet Heneveld (Gary) and Ken Vermeulen (Sylvia). She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
