He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Frederick Christian Thieme and Laura Lucille Slifer; his sister Alice Zielke (Ken); his wife Margaret Ann Ruttledge; his children, Lynne Thieme (Jeff Gould), Jeff Thieme (Sammy), Andrea Sefler (John) and David Thieme (Barbie Flores); and his grandchildren, Alex Gould, Molly Johnson (Ryan), Eliza (Adam Fitzpatrick), Nina Thieme, Megan and Julia Sefler.
