Alice B. Barnes Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice B. Barnes of Lansing, Illinois, who passed away on February 9, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Hoekstra and Lorraine Hoekstra; and her brother Earl Hoekstra. She is survived by: her husband Robert (Bob); her children, Sherie McCrory, Earl Barnes (Cindy) and David Barnes (Tracy); her grandchildren, Amanda Whisman (Braxton), Kaylan Lanham (James), Patrick McCrory (Savanna), Liane Bruinsma (Derek), Tiffany Popovich (Kurt), Dayna Huizenga (Steve), Cody Barshack (Brittney), Chris Barshack (Kristen), Conner Barnes (Andrea) and Colby Barnes; and her siblings, Larry Hoekstra (Judith), MaryEllen Golding (Kevin), Paul Hoekstra (Patty), Warren Hoekstra (Sheri) and Dale Hoekstra (Debbie). She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
