We are sad to announce that on December 17, 2022, at the age of 95, Betty R. Carroll of Lanark, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Burkholder and Helen Burkholder (Adams); her husband James W. Carroll; her brothers, Larry and Jack Burkholder; and her grandson Brett Morris.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Carroll of Chadwick, IL, Peggy Mosher (John) of Prophetstown, IL, Paulette Morris (Dan) of Gurnee, IL, Mark Carroll (Nancy) of Lanark, IL, Clark Carroll (Lori) of Lanark, IL and Karla Merdian (Denny) of Polo, IL; and her siblings, Keith Burkholder (Lillian) of Lanark, IL, Ray Burkholder of Lanark, IL and Connie Kerr of Dakota, IL. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in her memory for Allure Nursing Home in Mt. Carroll, Lanark Fire & Ambulance service, and Mt. Carroll Fire & Ambulance service.
