Kessel of Lakewood, Illinois, born in Shelbyville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2024 at the age of 74. She is survived by: her husband Fred Kenneth Kessel; her children, Deanna Collier (Joe) of Lakewood, IL, Debra Snyder (Kendall) of Lakewood, IL and Mathew Kessel (Stephanie) of Decatur, IL; her siblings, Joe Winings of Lakewood, IL, Sally Boehm (Larry) of Westervelt, IL, Pennie Evans (Steve) of Mt. Vernon, IL and Dixie Gray (Dale) of Lovington, IL; her grandchildren, Zeb Collier (Elaine) of Vandalia, IL, Gabby Niebrugge (Kyle) of Effingham, IL, Nik Snyder (Rachel) of Colorado Springs, CO, Autum Snyder of Rapid City, SD, Breanna Kessel of Mt. Zion, IL and Brody Kessel of Decatur, IL; her stepgrandchildren, Zoey Thixton of Springfield, IL and Zane Thixton of Sherman, IL; her great grandchildren, Winifred, Wesley Collier, Theodore, Benjamin Niebrugge and Beckham Gerhardt; and her stepgreat-granddaughter Aurora McDonough. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
