It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Francis Romanyak in Lakewood, Illinois, who passed away on December 12, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Romanyak; and his parents, John Romanyak and Apollonia Romanyak. He is survived by: his sons, John M. Romanyak and Andrew A. Romanyak; his siblings, Peter Romanyak (Susan) and Mary Brown (Mike); his nephews, Eric (Janet) and Jeff Brown (Shannon); his niece Jennifer Carrell (Colin); and his cousin James Kaspar.
In lieu of flowers, any donations (cash or checks) would be greatly appreciated and forwarded in their entirety to John F. Romanyak's caregiver (Emmanuel) who has helped the Romanyak family tremendously over the last several years -- but recently suffered a devastating personal family tragedy of his own.
