It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia L. Gerberding (Lake Zurich, Illinois), who passed away on August 30, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rev. Martin and Verona Lopahs (Mueller); her husband Gerald "Jerry" Garberding; her daughters, Elizabeth Poteet, Dr. Karen Cox (James) and Melissa Jeong (Sin); and her siblings, Ruth Sazama, Kathleen Rentas and Rev. Martin Lopahs. She was also cherished by 6 grandchildren.
