He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Cooney and Catherine Cooney. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Kevin Cooney and Christine Yee (David); his grandson Judah Yee; and his siblings, Margaret "Peggy" and Michael "Mick" Cooney. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
