He was predeceased by: his parents, Fernando Villalobos and Maria Del Rosario Alvarado; his wife Marilyn Ruth Pope Ramos; and his daughter Lisa M. Ramos. He is survived by: his son James "Jamie" Ramos (Wendy); and his grandchildren, Samantha M. and Jaxson Q. Ramos.

Memorial contributions in Santiago's memory may be given to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
