He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Parsons and Catherine "Kitty" Parsons; and his father-in-law Jack Feliccia. He is survived by: his wife Denise J.; his children, Michelle Parsons (Steve Cunningham), Greg Parsons (Thomas Smith) and Mallory Parsons; his grandchildren, Carlee Parsons and Michael Parsons Avelar; his siblings, Kathy Lane (David) and David Parsons (Sandee); his mother-in-law Carole Feliccia; and his brother-in-law Steve Feliccia (Natalie). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
