She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Konefes (Beck) and Henry Konefes; her husband Herbert C. Maas; her siblings, Joseph, Edward Konefes, Martha Guenther and Louise Johnson; and her son-in-law Scott Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Dawn Jones, Diane Mahachek (David) and Henry Scheffner (Karen); her grandchildren, Paul Belcher, Krysti Farnam (Norm), Amy Bishop (Mark), Laura Mamola (Rob), Beth Venezia (Mike) and Margaret Scheffner; her great grandchild Angel Smith (Josh); her grandchildren, Sara Belcher, Harrison, Nolan, Quinn, Keaton Farnam, Grace, Charlie Bishop, Spencer and Claire Mamola; and her great great grandchild Henry Smith.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Gurnee Salata Funeral Home (4190 Old Grand Ave, Gurnee, IL 60031). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Millburn Cemetery (18550 County Hwy).
