It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Anthony Tjardes (Lake Zurich, Illinois), who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Pauline; his children, Richard J. Tjardes and Laurie Klawans (Gary); and his siblings, Arlene Smolarek (Charles), Wilbert Tjardes and Linda Laufer (Lloyd). He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
