It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rebecca Lee Gibson of Lake Zurich, Illinois, who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Rebecca Lee may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rebecca Lee touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Bob Thompson; and her sister Sue Dueck. She is survived by: her mother Thelma Thompson (Hansen); her husband Scott Gibson; her children, Nate Gibson (Danny), Brett Gibson and Kurt Gibson (Allison); and her grandchildren, Ada Gibson and Wesley Gibson. She is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Heritage Church (255 N Quentin Rd, Lake Zurich, IL 60047). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
