He was predeceased by: his mother Shirley Smith (Rutz); his father-in-law Ronald McCarthy; his nephew Jamie Smith; and his niece Allison Smith. He is survived by: his wife Kelly Smith (McCarthy); his children, Michele Lubbert (Adam), Bryan Smith (Kelly) and Patrick Smith (Mireya); his grandchildren, Adeline, Liliana, Corinne, Watson and Louise; his father Edward Smith; his siblings, William Smith (Janita) and Marcella Marcel; and his mother-in-law Barbara McCarthy. He is also survived by many other family members and close friends.
