He is survived by: his children, Froydis "Peggy" Garza (Albert), Egon Ludvigsen (Barbara) and Rita McIntyre; and his grandchildren, Anthony Garza (Joyce), William Garza, John Ludvigsen, Michelle Ludvigsen, Erik Ludvigsen, Kristen Ferris (Heather) of Erik, C. L., Jason Ludvigsen and Kinberly McIntyre. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
